In order to substantially reduce the amount of manufacturing waste from our facility that may go to a landfill, throughout the pressrooms and bindery, we have baler systems to extract, shred and bale paper waste for recycling. Corrugated is also collected and recycled.

We participate in extensive recycling efforts. 100% of our printing plates are recycled through an aluminum recycler. Pallets are recycled. Fluorescent bulbs, ballasts and batteries from the plant are recycled to keep them out of our landfills. Electronics and computers are recycled. Office paper is recycled, as well as all lubricant oils used throughout Geographics.
