Installation Instructions:

Be sure you have a current version of the Java Runtime Environment before installing the software. On most Windows systems, you can determine the version of java you have by typing 'java -version' at a command (DOS) prompt. If you are unsure of your version, it does not hurt to install the latest version from Sun's java website as linked above.

Click the download link above. We recommend you choose to 'Run this program from its current location' if you are provided that option. If you choose to save the file to your hard disk, double click on the executable 'rremote.exe' once it is finished.

Follow the instructions provided in the installer.

• Introduction – Read & follow directions
• Choose Install Folder – usually follow folder suggested
• Choose Shortcuts – Select shortcut icon placement
• Pre-Installation Summary – Review for correctness
• Installing – Program is installed
• Install Complete - Finished

For normal installations, you can usually just accept whatever default answer the application suggests. This means that you can just click on the “Next” button until you reach the “Install Complete” button. Click “Install Complete” and you’re done! But take time to read through the possible answers just in case they offer something that would be helpful to the user.

If the customer wants to install the application in a special location on their computer, they will understand these simple questions and be able to provide the answers for you.
